ARSD 55:10:08:02 – Appeal from dismissals, demotion, suspension, reduction in pay, or termination.

A status employee may appeal a disciplinary action taken in accordance with § 55:10:07:04 or a termination pursuant to § 55:10:09:02 within 14 days after notification of the disciplinary action or termination. The appeal shall be made pursuant to the departmental grievance procedure found in § 55:10:08:16 if the department does not have an approved procedure.
