A law enforcement appointing authority may establish additional requirements for all persons seeking appointment. The appointing authority may specify standards for the following:

1. (1) Weight or body composition;
2. (2) Flexibility, and

3. (3) Physical fitness.

   Any such standards shall be in writing and available for all applicants.
