The registered nurse providing delegation and supervision to non-licensed trained staff employed by the provider of direct HCB services must be licensed pursuant to chapter 20:48:03. The provider of direct HCB services must document verification with the Board of Nursing to determine that a nurse is actively licensed or has privilege to practice in the state of South Dakota.
