An establishment shall pay any fine imposed under this chapter within thirty days of receipt of notice from the department. If an establishment does not pay the fine within thirty days, the establishment is subject to further disciplinary action by the department, including suspension or revocation of the registration certificate. The imposition of a fine is a final decision by the department and is subject to appeal pursuant to SDCL chapter 1-26.
