An antisiphon device or backflow preventer shall be installed on any hose bib and on any fixture to which a hose or tubing can be attached such as a laboratory or a janitor's sink, bedpan flushing attachment, and a handheld shower. Each antisiphon device or backflow preventer shall be installed on any plumbing and equipment where any possibility exists for contamination of the potable water supply.
