A municipality that requests the department to conduct inspections of tattoo or saline tattoo removal establishments shall remit $150 to the department for each inspection conducted. If the department conducts multiple inspections during a special event, the fee is $100 for each inspection conducted.

A municipality shall make any request for inspections in writing.
