An ambulance service must report to the department any property damage in excess of one thousand dollars caused by or to a ground ambulance operated by the ambulance service and any personal injury to the public or ambulance personnel that requires medical attention that occurred during a response. The report must be made to the department within five business days after the event that caused the damage or injury.
