N onmedical equipment. Each ground ambulance must be equipped with t he following nonmedical equipment:
- (1) One five-pound dry chemical multi-use handheld fire extinguisher approved by Underwriters Laboratories and certified by an independent fire extinguisher company within the past calendar year, mounted for easy access;
- (2) An emergency response handbook;
- (3) Reflective non-igniting warning devices to mark road hazards;
- (4) A "No Smoking" sign permanently affixed in the front and patient compartments; and
- (5) Working seatbelts and safety restraints for patient, crew, and family.
