Each ground ambulance must be equipped with the following medical examination equipment and reference materials:
- (1) A sphygmomanometer with adult, child, and infant cuffs;
- (2) An adult stethoscope;
- (3) A pediatric stethoscope;
- (4) Disposable hypoallergenic examination gloves;
- (5) A pen light;
- (6) Glasgow coma scale reference;
- (7) Pediatric trauma score reference;
- (8) A pediatric vital signs card;
- (9) A thermometer with low temperature capability;
- (10) State-defined trauma team activation criteria;
- (11) A length-based resuscitation tape or reference material that provides appropriate guidance for pediatric drug dosing and equipment sizing based on length or age; and
- (12) Pediatric and adult patient care guidelines.
