Each ground ambulance must be equipped with the following immobilization devices:
- (1) One upper extremity immobilization device and one lower extremity immobilization device that support the joint above and below the fracture site sized appropriately for adult and pediatric patients;
- (2) Two adult-size radiolucent spine boards with at least three appropriate restraint straps;
- (3) Two rigid cervical collars for adult and pediatric patients or adjustable cervical collars for adult and pediatric patients;
- (4) One head immobilization device using firm padding or a commercial head immobilization device;
- (5) One pediatric immobilization device with appropriate padding; and
- (6) One short immobilization device.
