V entilation equipment. Each ground ambulance must be equipped with the following ventilation equipment :
- (1) Fixed and portable oxygen equipment with variable flow regulator;
(2) Oxygen administration equipment:
- (a) Oxygen tubing;
- (b) Partial or non-rebreathing masks in adult, child, and infant sizes; and
- (c) Nasal cannulas in adult and pediatric sizes;
(3) Bag-valve masks in adult, child, and infant sizes that are:
- (a) Hand operated;
- (b) Self-re-expanding bag adult size greater than 1000 ml and child size 450-750 ml;
- (c) Disposable;
- (d) Operable in cold weather; and
- (e) Equipped with an oxygen reservoir and accumulator; and
(4) Airways:
- (a) Adult, child, and infant oropharyngeal sizes 0-5;
- (b) Nasopharyngeal sizes 20F-34F;
- (c) Supraglottic airway device;
- (d) Tongue depressors; and
- (e) Water soluble lubricating jelly.
