As provided in §§ 41:07:03:01 and 41:07:03:03, the daily, possession, and length limits in effect for each species are the same as and in combination with the hook and line limits set for the areas included in § 41:07:06:03. No person actively engaged in spearfishing or bowfishing may possess speared game fish in an area not open to the spearing of game fish. If a fish is taken with a spear, speargun, or bow and arrow, the person spearfishing shall retain the fish.
