The shooting hours for a special pheasant hunting season are sunrise to sunset except that after the start of the regular state pheasant season established pursuant to chapter 41:06:08, shooting hours are the same as those established for the regular state pheasant hunting season. The bag limit is three male pheasants. No hunting license or fee is required of qualifying disabled veterans and purple heart recipients.
