41 : 06 : 13 : 05 . Turkey hunting recruitment license -- Open area and eligibility . A turkey hunting recruitment license is valid statewide, excluding Custer State Park, and is open from one-half hour before sunrise to sunset each day during the open dates for the prairie and Black Hills hunting seasons, respectively. A turkey hunting recruitment license is for a designated mentored youth as provided in SDCL 41-6-81 .
