Potter County public water safety zones are as follows:
- (1) The waters of Lake Oahe fronting on that portion of the West Whitlock Recreation Area starting at a point 220 feet east of the northwest corner of the bathhouse and extending 550 feet south along the shoreline are a "public swimming zone";
- (2) The waters of Lake Oahe fronting the south East Whitlock boat ramp from a point 150 feet southeast of the ramp to a point 500 feet northwest of the ramp are a "no wake zone"; and
- (3) The waters of Lake Oahe fronting the north East Whitlock boat ramp from a point 200 feet west of the ramp to a point 200 feet east of the ramp are a "no wake zone."
