For an individual who has completed a CTE preparation program or CTE instructor permit, a law, public safety, security, and corrections career cluster endorsement requires completion of one of the following: passage of the state-designated content test, completion of state-required coursework, 4,000 hours of validated work experience in a related field within the previous five years, or certification as a law enforcement officer.
