24 : 28 : 20 : 12 . Endorsements requiring content test, content major, or coursework. For an individual who has completed an elementary preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of one of the following: passage of the state-designated content test, major in content, or completion of state-designated coursework. T he endorsements are:

1. (1) Elementary reading;
2. (2) Elementary Spanish;
3. (3) Elementary German;
4. (4) Elementary French;
5. (5) Elementary Chinese;
6. (6) Elementary Latin;
7. (7) Elementary computer science education;
8. (8) Elementary school library education;
9. (9) Elementary English as a new language education; and
10. (10) Elementary gifted education.
