24 : 28 : 20 : 10 . Endorsements requiring coursework. For an individual who has completed an elementary preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of state-designated coursework. The endorsements are:

1. (1) Kindergarten;
2. (2) Elementary deaf or hearing impaired;
3. (3) Elementary blind or visually impaired;
4. (4) Elementary South Dakota Indian studies; and
5. (5) Middle level learner.
