24 : 28 : 20 : 06 . Endorsements requiring pedagogy test and coursework. For an individual who had completed an elementary preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of state-designated coursework. The endorsements are:

1. (1) Kindergarten through grade 12 classroom technology;
2. (2) Kindergarten through grade 12 distance educator;
3. (3) Secondary deaf or hearing impaired;
4. (4) Secondary blind or visually impaired; and

5. (5) Secondary South Dakota Indian studies.

   Effective July 1, 2019, passage of the state-designated pedagogy test is also required.
