24 : 28 : 15 : 10 . Requirements to obtain a professional administrator certificate with a principal endorsement. To obtain a professional administrator certificate with a principal endorsement, an individual with a principal administrator alternative certificate shall:

1. (1) Complete a minimum of eighteen transcripted credits from a regionally-accredited institution of higher education with a grade of C or higher in:

   1. (a) Instructional leadership;
   2. (b) Ethical and inclusive leadership;
   3. (c) Cognitive coaching/facilitation skills;
   4. (d) Creating a safe and inclusive school environment;
   5. (e) Process management;
   6. (f) Systems management;
   7. (g) Educational policy and law; and
   8. (h) South Dakota Indian studies;
2. (2) Pass the state-designated content test; and
3. (3) Receive signoff from the applicant's employing public or department-accredited school.
