24 : 28 : 09 : 40 . CTE instructor permit employer requirements. The employing public or d epartment-accredited school must meet the following requirements until the CTE instructor completes the requirements of 24:28:09:39(3):

1. (1) Provide a mentor teacher to the applicant;
2. (2) Develop a program to assist the CTE instructor with academic and classroom support;
3. (3) Provide assurances of regular observation, guidance, and evaluation of the performance of assigned duties; and
4. (4) Recommend the CTE instructor based on documented performance and progress.
