24 : 28 : 07 : 08 . Administrator certificate preparation. An administrator shall hold a valid certificate issued by the Secretary in the following areas of administrator preparation:

1. (1) School superintendent;
2. (2) K-12 principal; or
3. (3) Alternative administrator certification issued pursuant to chapter 24:28:15.
