24 : 28 : 06 : 14 . Dual credit contracted employee exemption. An instructional employee under contract to a regionally-accredited institution of higher education or postsecondary technical institute who is not regularly employed for instructional purposes in a public or d epartment-accredited school and provides instruction in a dual credit course is exempt from the requirement of holding a teaching certificate.
