When conducting IEP team meetings pursuant to this chapter and chapter 24:05:30, and carrying out administrative matters under chapter 24:05:30 (such as scheduling, exchange of witness lists, and status conferences), the parent of a student with a disability and a school district may agree to use alternative means of meeting participation, such as video conferences and conference calls.
