If, after an informal review arising from a parental referral, the district determines that no evaluation is necessary, the district shall inform the parents of its decision and the reasons for the decision. It shall also inform the parents of their due process rights.

If after informal review, the district determines that further evaluation is necessary, the district shall conduct a full and individual evaluation with the consent of the parents.
