Any trainee who fails to submit the renewal application and fee by the expiration of the trainee's recognition status automatically loses recognition status. Any trainee who has allowed the trainee recognition status to lapse may reinstate the status within thirty days of the expiration date, providing the trainee:

1. (1) Requests reinstatement;
2. (2) Submits the renewal application and all applicable documentation; and

3. (3) Pays the application fee and the renewal fee.

   Any trainee wanting to reinstate recognition status after the thirty day reinstatement period shall successfully complete three of the courses required for either CPS, CAC, or LAC.
