A CAC, LAC, or CPS is eligible to apply to the board for reciprocity through the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) by submitting an application and the required fee.

The board may grant reciprocity at a certified addiction counselor, certified prevention specialist, or licensed addiction counselor level for any practitioner who is certified by another IC&RC member and who holds a reciprocal level credential.
