20 : 68 : 06 : 02 . Standards for counseling through electronic means. Counseling provided through electronic means must adhere to the requirements of this article, HIPAA regulations, and the ethical requirements of chapter 20:68:08. Failure to adhere to these regulations and requirements may be considered unprofessional conduct by the board and subject to disciplinary action.
