A pharmacy intern shall be designated as a pharmacy intern in the intern's professional relationship and may not hold himself or herself out, directly or by inference, as a pharmacist. The board shall issue to the pharmacy intern a certificate for the purposes of identification and verification of his or her role as a pharmacy intern.
