The license of a clinical nurse specialist must be renewed at the same time the registered nurse license is renewed as provided in §§ 20:48:03:09 and 20:48:03:10. The applicant for renewal of licensure must show evidence of a current certificate from a national certifying body unless specifically exempted from certification as set forth in SDCL 36-9-86.
