A person who has been legally practicing dental radiography in a state within the three years prior to application may be eligible for registration by endorsement to practice as a dental radiographer in this state. To apply, the applicant must submit to the State Board of Dentistry:

(b) If not currently registered as a dental radiographer, verification that the applicant has legally practiced dental radiography for a period of time during the three years preceding application. The board may require written documentation from a dentist that has employed or supervised the applicant attesting to the current clinical proficiency of the applicant to practice dental radiography.
The board may issue a registration to practice as a dental radiographer to an applicant who meets the requirements in this section.
