If no further twin trifecta races are scheduled or planned at a facility, a special race may be held, after securing permission from the director of racing, for the purpose of final distribution of the jackpot pool, the seed pool, and the net total performance's wagers under the consolation pool provisions in subdivisions 20:04:30:96(10) and (11). If no winner is selected, the jackpot and seed pools and the net total performance's wagers shall be distributed equally to all ticket holders on the race.
