If a horse swerves or is ridden to either side of the track so as to interfere with or impede another horse, it is a foul. The horse may be disqualified, and the stewards may fine or suspend the jockey. When a horse is disqualified by the stewards, every horse in the race owned wholly or in part by the same owner or trained by the same trainer may be disqualified upon a finding of just cause by the stewards.
