Records shall be kept on forms prescribed or approved by, and contain all information required by, the commissioner. Records shall be available for inspection during normal business hours by the department or its authorized agents, the Animal Industry Board or its authorized agents, and law enforcement agents. The records required by this chapter shall be kept for five years after the records were last utilized by the licensee. This records retention requirement survives the termination of the license agreement, whether voluntary or otherwise.
