A person must pass a written examination under supervision of the secretary, demonstrate the ability to collect an official farm bulk tank milk sample, and demonstrate the ability to perform manufacturing grade farm certifications before the secretary grants the person a dairy fieldman's license. To retain a license, a dairy fieldman must attend an annual seminar approved by the department.
