All nondomestic animals must be accompanied by a health certificate signed by a licensed accredited veterinarian within 30 days before entry to the South Dakota state fair.
All nondomestic animals entering South Dakota from out of state must also be accompanied by a permit number issued by the South Dakota State Animal Industry Board.
All nondomestic ruminants must meet brucellosis and tuberculosis testing requirements of the State Animal Industry Board prior to admission to the state fair.
All nondomestic fowl entering South Dakota from out of state must either be individually tested negative for pullorum disease or originate from a pullorum-free flock or state. The fowl must be accompanied by a health certificate signed by a licensed accredited veterinarian within 30 days before entry to the state fair and by a permit number issued by the State Animal Industry Board.
