The training course for incumbent county coroners shall consist of a curriculum of at least eight hours of advanced or refresher training. The curriculum shall include the following subject areas:

1. (1) Death scene investigation; and

2. (2) Death registration.

   The coroner shall report the coroner's training hours by December 31^st of each even-numbered year. Each coroner shall maintain training records and make them available for inspection by the commission.
