1. (1) The Council shall consider an organization for acceptance as an approved inspection agency upon receipt of an application accompanied by a prospectus detailing its capabilities to perform in that capacity.

2. (2) Each organization applying for approval shall indicate in its application:

   1. (a) its qualifications to inspect equipment and systems; and
   2. (b) that the organization is not controlled by any manufacturer or supplier subject to the Council’s jurisdiction; and
   3. (c) that it will make available specific information as required by the Council; and
   4. (d) that it retains a building construction oriented South Carolina registered professional engineer or architect who shall be responsible for compliance with these regulations; and
   5. (e) its organizational structure; and
   6. (f) the education and qualification of the employees to be doing the actual inspection and plan review; and
   7. (g) its agreement to perform inspections at the frequency specified in these regulations; and
   8. (h) proof that all personnel performing inspections are certified by a testing agency recognized by the Council.
