1. A. A genetic counselor license must be renewed biennially. The license expires on April 30^th of each odd-numbered year.

2. B. To renew a genetic counselor license, the licensee shall:

   1. (1) pay a renewal fee as provided by regulation; and
   2. (2) submit evidence of an active ABGC CGC credential.
3. C. A license that is not renewed on or before April 30^th is invalid and is considered lapsed. A lapsed license may only be reinstated in accordance with R.41-50.
4. D. A limited license cannot be renewed.
