Endorsement Licensure.

A person currently licensed to practice in another state or territorial possession of the United States, or the District of Columbia, whose license is in good standing, may be issued a license in this State by endorsement upon submission of an application and the applicable fee, and showing that the person has:

  1. (a) satisfactorily passed a nationally recognized examination for entry into the profession; or

    (b)(i) been licensed for at least two years in another state or territorial possession of the United States or the District of Columbia, and

    1. (ii) completes four hours of Board-approved continuing education, either in person or online, in South Carolina state laws and regulations, client safety, and/or infection control to include sanitation and disinfection. Completion of these hours will also satisfy the continuing education requirements for renewal of this license for the subsequent licensing period immediately following the issuance of the license.
