Issuance of Licenses.

Effective Mar 26, 2004State Register Volume 28, Issue No. 3South Carolina Commission for the Blind

  1. A. Licenses are only issued to those individuals who are determined by the Agency to be:

    1. 1. Legally blind in accordance with the definition in 18-1 (B) (3) of these regulations.
    2. 2. Citizens of the United States; legal resident of the State of South Carolina.
    3. 3. At least 18 years of age.
    4. 4. In need of employment.
  2. B. Individuals must be certified by the Vocational Rehabilitation and Business Enterprise Program as being qualified to operate a vending facility prior to licensing. (see 18-4 and 18-5).
