As used in this part [Sections 62-5-601 et seq.]:

1. (1) The term "Veterans' Administration" means the United States Veterans' Administration or its successor.
2. (2) The terms "estate" and "income" shall include only monies received by the guardian from the Veterans' Administration and all earnings, interest, and profits derived therefrom.
3. (3) The term "benefits" means all monies payable by the United States through the Veterans' Administration.
4. (4) The term "Administrator" means the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs of the United States or his successor.
5. (5) The term "ward" means a beneficiary of the Veterans' Administration.
6. (6) The term "guardian" means any person acting as a fiduciary for any ward, including a committee for a person over twenty-one years old.
