There is established within the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the South Carolina Interagency Council on Hunger and Nutrition. The council shall give advice and make recommendations to the department, other departments of the State, the public, and the General Assembly on all matters dealing with hunger and nutrition in this State.
