Any person who works as an Animal Health Technician without first having complied with the board as provided by this article, or who knowingly presents to or files false information with the board for the purpose of obtaining a certificate, is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than fifty dollars or imprisoned for not less than thirty days.
