S.C. Code Ann. § 14-31-30

Definitions

Effective Jun 1, 20152015 Act No. 30 (S.426), SECTION 1, eff June 1, 2015.

The following definitions shall apply to this chapter:

  1. (1) "Pre-adjudicatory mental health court program" means a program that allows an offender to expedite the offender's criminal case before conviction and requires successful completion of the mental health court program as part of the agreement.
  2. (2) "Post-adjudicatory mental health court program" means a program in which an offender has admitted guilt or has been found guilty and agrees to enter a mental health court program as part of the offender's sentence.
  3. (3) "Combination mental health court program" means a mental health court program that includes a pre-adjudicatory mental health court program and a post-adjudicatory mental health court program.
