- (a) Whenever an application is received from a person previously licensed in another jurisdiction, the division of motor vehicles may request a copy of the operator’s record from that other jurisdiction. When received, the operator’s record shall become a part of the operator’s record in this state with the same force and effect as though entered on the operator’s record in this state in the original instance.
- (b) Whenever the division of motor vehicles receives a request for an operator’s record from another licensing jurisdiction the record shall be forwarded without charge.
