1. "Committee." A borough advisory committee.
2. "Freeholder." A person enjoying a continuous right of ownership and possession of real property for an indeterminate period by fee simple or life estate.
3. "Township." A township of the first or second class or any home rule township.

The following words and phrases when used in this subchapter shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
