53 Pa.C.S. § 901 – Short title and scope of chapter

(a) Short title of chapter.— This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Municipal Reapportionment Act.
(b) Scope of chapter.— This chapter applies to the following entities:
1. (1) Municipalities.
2. (2) Units of government created and existing under Subpart E of Part III (relating to home rule and optional plan government).
3. (3) Similar general purpose units of local government created by statute.
