1. (a) A foreign substance of accepted therapeutic value may be administered as prescribed by a veterinarian when test levels and guidelines for its use have been established, adopted and published by the Commission, the RMTC Schedule of Therapeutic Medications, the ARCI, the USTA, or a similar Nationally recognized organization.

   1. (1) The administration of Furosemide shall be permitted for the prophylactic treatment of a confirmed bleeder under the specific provisions set forth in § § 403.14 and 403.15 (relating to Furosemide (Lasix—Thoroughbred); and Furosemide (Lasix—Standardbred)).
