1. (a) The following field standards apply to tobacco:

   	Maximum Permitted in Each Seed Class
   Factors	foundation	certified
   Off-type plants	none	none
   Varietal mixture	none	none
   Mosaic	none	none
   Ring-spot	none	none

2. (b) ‘‘Varietal mixtures’’ shall include only plants that can be identified with reasonable certainty as another variety.
3. (c) Plants adjacent to a diseased ring-spot plant shall be topped.
